Linn Audio System for Sale

I hate to sell my Linn but it is just sitting in storage and costing me money. The system has been used very little over the last few years and has been in climate controlled storage since April. The Linn Axis turntable has been in climate controlled storage since it was purchased. (After I purchased the turntable, I tried it out with one album and then put it back in its box and it went into to storage.)

Here’s what makes up the system:

Linn Wakonda Phono (MM) pre-amp
Linn LK100 power amps (x2) – one drives bass, the other treble
Linn Tukan loudspeakers (Cherry finish – extra covers may be included)
Linn Mimik CD player
Linn Basik turntable with Akito arm and K5 cartridge ( SOLD)

I am also including the interconnects if you purchase the entire system. If you’re in Houston, you can also have the speaker stands.

The system has been pampered but it is not perfect:

The bottom of the Tukans have some scratches from where they sat on the speaker stands (I have included photos of this)
The turntable has always been kept in climate controlled storage but I think I have Houston’s humidity to blame for the veneer peeling on one corner (photo of this included).
You may want to replace the bass power amp’s on/off switch. From time-to-time it will get stuck in either. I never bothered to replace it since I used a surge protector’s switch to turn the system on/off.

I would prefer to sell this as a system because of the Aktiv configuration but I am willing to consider interesting offers.

I have tried to include as many large photos as possible (downloads may take a while depending on your connection) to give as you a feel for the system.

Payment is cash or via Paypal. If you’re in the Houston area, you can pick up the system from the Galleria area. If you need me to ship, shipping costs are extra.
